Welcome to the PostModern Language Association

Welcome to the PostModern Language Association. Founded in 1992 by three former members of the Modern Language Association, the PMLA offers a bold alternative to the staid orthodoxy of the aforementioned institution.

Unique services offered by the PMLA include the latest rulings on alternative source citations (sources our previous Association was too timid to embrace), an advice column for thornier usage questions, and "Deconstruction Junction" (a Derridalicious look at modern culture).

We invite you to peruse our site and experience the power that comes from knowing that one is walking the cutting edge (wear sturdy shoes).
